About Floatels Europe

Floatels Europe provides housing for migrant workers in former (mainly inland) cruise ships. We arrange these ships for you and take care of the crew and maintenance. The facility is under 24-hour supervision by a professional crew. Bed linen and towels are provided. In addition to accommodation, we can provide meals for employees. All this is done on the basis of a fixed price per employee. We will be happy to provide you with a tailor-made quotation!

Vision

The use of cruise ships is an excellent solution for the acute shortage of places to stay for migrant workers. The “delivery time” is short, nothing needs to be built and the ships can be on location quickly. After the project, the ship will be moved so that there are no lasting memories of the housing. Our vision is that the use of cruise ships can make an environmentally friendly contribution to a major problem in the Netherlands.

Mission

Our mission is simple: unburdening! This unburdening has two sides. We relieve the employer of all aspects of housing. The employer can fully focus on his goal: achieving his assignment. No time is lost on all administrative and organizational aspects of housing.

We also provide relief to residents of places where larger groups of migrant workers are settled. Due to the nature of the housing, residential areas are avoided. Practice shows that this prevents feared nuisance from being unburdened. Due to the nature of the housing, in practice it appears that local residents have no fear of permanent changes to the living environment. The acceptance level of this housing is therefore higher than for traditional housing.
